Homestudy and dossier???DONE.

1st Homestudy Visit - CHECK

WE had our first homestudy visit today! It's crazy to think we have one more on Wednesday night and then we are home free for awhile! I cannot believe how quickly it is all happening now. Seems like the journey will take forever when you are going through the paperwork but as it's winding down (phase I anyway) we are shocked at how quickly it has happened.

Sophie is excited she did really well with our social worker she was on her best behavior and played great by herself while we did the homestudy. I LOVE OUR NEW SOCIAL WORKER she is great and a mom herself. It was awesome to talk to her and we have a lot of similiar likes and parenting styles so it was a great meeting!

The room is ready - well cleared anyway and we are having carpet people over tonight to measure so we can order the new flooring for the bedroom. It's so hard not knowing if it's a girl or a boy I'm such a control freak wanting things done early and themed out of course so it's a little maddening yet so exciting!!!!! Will it be a girl or a boy?

If sophie had her way it would be a little sister named baby Emma. Baby Emma has made it into every family photo she draws at school. Too cute!

I am pretty sure it's going to be a boy...BUT we've been told it could easily be a little lady too.
We shall see...
