On Friday we received confirmation our homestudy was sent to our adoption agency.
After speaking to them, we learned the next step in the process is for them to review and then send over to Taiwan for matching! I cannot believe we are close to seeing our new little one's face! It still seems surreal but we are totally getting excited.
This adoption has been so different in the fact that we cannot prep for this one! It is frustrating, let me tell you! I don't know if it's a girl or boy or if its 12 mo old or 2 years it has been crazy and for a Type A personality this is just painful - haha with sophie we knew it was a girl and we knew she would be between 6 - 12 mo at time of placement soooooo we could shop for clothes, shoes and we could get the room together, buy toys, etc. So I'm doing all my christmas shopping now so when the baby's pic comes I will be able to start painting, decorating and getting ready for the newest little one to join the family
I am starting to get excited!
My gut tells me it's going to be in December, I don't know why but I really think it's going to be in December before christmas....we are #2 on the list for a young toddler - there are others on the waiting list but not paper ready so that is good news.
Very excited, very nervous and starting to have anxiety :)
